Indian High School has been in Dubai since 1961 and is the oldest, largest and the leading educational institution in the Gulf Region; permanently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has been accredited ‘outstanding’ by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Government of Dubai and also the first school in the region to receive ISO 9001-2008. IHS is also known to be the only school, to have won twice, winner of the Sheikh Hamdan Award for Distinguished School and School Administration ensuring to keep the fee at its lowest. It is run by a Board of Trustees and aims to provide affordable and quality education to all its students.
IHS branched out to two more campuses; IHS Junior School in Al Garhoud and the Indian International School in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
