Dubai Chess and Culture Club was built up in 1979 as a piece of the UAE Chess Federation and moved to its perpetual home office in Al Mamzar in 1999.
The club was ready to have the game’s chief worldwide group rivalry, the World Chess Olympiad in 1986. It later went forward facilitating and arranging different global rivalries, for example, the World Rapid and Blitz Championship, the Asian Cities Championships, Dubai Open Chess Tournament, Dubai Juniors Chess Championship, Credit Swiss Chess Masters Tournament and Fide Active Chess Grand Prix are amongst the few.
