ABU HAIL

Description

Abu Hail is an area in Dubai, situated in Deira. The region is to a great extent private and is circumscribed by the areas of Al Waheda on the east, Hor Al Anz in the south and Al Baraha on the west.

The Abu Hail Shopping Center and Dubai Labor Office are situated in Abu Hail.

Abu Hail is referenced in the 1830 British overview of the Trucial Coast. The settlement and port of Abu Hail were shelled on 18 January 1820 by British powers during the Persian Gulf crusade of 1819, after the fall of Ras Al Khaimah.

Abu Hail was adequately surrendered and just involved, by individuals from both Al Khan and Dubai, during the date harvest.
