Deira is a region in Dubai circumscribed by the Persian Gulf, Sharjah and Dubai Creek and has been the business focal point of Dubai, with ongoing improvement along Sheikh Zayed Road and zones further down the coast towards Abu Dhabi. Port Saeed is a little port along Deira’s shore of Dubai Creek and holds a portion of the dhow travels and little transportation vessels in Dubai.
Deira has grown much since its initial days with the improvement of both overhead and underground metro tracks, various shopping centers like the City Center Deira, and present day structures and towers and Dubai’s air terminal is situated here.
